There could be a new Drake collaboration with Lauryn Hill on the way, or at least a Drake song sampling Hill’s “Ex Factor.”
A snippet appeared on social media on Tuesday featuring Drake rapping over a beat that sampled the 1998 song off the award-winning singers album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
The snippet was abruptly removed, but talk of the song still continues.
A Twitter user named @pdame72 (labelled as peter savage aka 35 savage) added fuel to the speculation by posting a copyright infringement notice he received instructing him to remove the snippet from his profile. In the letter (which you can see part of below) the song is referred to as “Showin Off.”
