Burd & Keyz Previews New Album With TOBi-Assisted “Miracles”

TLDR: “Miracles” by Burd & Keyz brings TOBi into a soulful meditation on hardship, faith and the possibility of better days.

Toronto production team Burd & Keyz have spent years shaping records from behind the boards. On “Miracles,” their new collaboration with Nigerian-Canadian singer and rapper TOBi, the production carries as much emotional weight as the lyrics.

Released July 7, “Miracles” by Burd & Keyz is built on warm keys, patient drums and a cinematic sweep that gives TOBi room to work. His delivery stays measured as he moves through hardship, faith and gratitude, treating hope as something tested rather than blindly assumed. The result is soulful without becoming soft-focus, with the arrangement kept spacious enough for every line to register.

Burd and Joel Chambers produced the track, which serves as the latest preview of Burd’s upcoming debut artist album, Burd’s Eye View. Due July 31, the project moves Andrew “Burd” Liburd further into the foreground after a career spent producing for artists including Meek Mill, Pusha T, A$AP Ferg, Fabolous, Chris Brown, Machine Gun Kelly, and more.

That move does not require Burd to leave behind what made Burd & Keyz respected in the first place. “Miracles” still relies on the producer’s ear for melody and emotional pacing, while showing how naturally that production language can hold together a larger artist-led project. TOBi brings the kind of reflective writing that turns the song’s message into lived experience instead of a motivational slogan.

The Fatty Soprano-directed video, released July 13, extends that mood through restrained, cinematic imagery centred on reflection, renewal and hard-won progress. It avoids overselling the message, allowing TOBi’s performance and the record’s quiet tension to carry the visuals.

With Burd’s Eye View arriving July 31, “Miracles” finds Burd building on the legacy he and Keyz created together while continuing to push it into new territory.
