Boi-1da is giving Toronto fans a chance to see him live alongside 2 Chainz, Killy, and Savannah Ré during a FREE show at the Mod Club on October 24 as part of LOTTO MAX’s Up Close program.
“Knowing that music is an important passion point for our players, and that music lives right in that world of dreaming bigger (who hasn’t daydreamed about being a music star?), we introduced the LOTTO MAX Up Close platform,” said Greg Dermer, OLG’s Brand Manager for LOTTO MAX.
“The Up Close program brings the essence of dreaming bigger to life by making dream concerts a reality – elevating music experiences and getting the fans closer to the artists they love. And that’s what’s it’s all about, getting fans UP CLOSE to their music heroes in intimate environments that can only happen through LOTTO MAX.”
For the last two years, the free concerts put on as part of LOTTO MAX’s Up Close program featured Canadian indie/rock acts including Metric and Broken Social Scene. The brand made a move to hip-hop talent after coming across the opportunity to work with Boi-1da, a locally grown producer, who also happens to be one of the most renowned in the industry.
“We are big fans of his production and how he represents Canada on the world stage,” said Dermer.
“There are few forces in the world quite like hip-hop – from fashion to language to culture and to art, we see its impact on a global scale and here in Ontario. Also, hip-hop dominates the streaming data we’ve reviewed, so let’s give the people what they want.”
What can fans expect at the event? According to Dermer, it will be “an event like no other.”
“You’ll never see Boi-1da, 2 Chainz, Killy, and Savannah Ré together on a bill in a venue this intimate ever again,” Dermer pointed out.
“Contest winners can expect to see some cool swag and experiences at the event on top of the show.”
Fans must enter for a chance to win entry to the show, you can enter online via LottoMaxUpClose.com.
Additionally, 10 special winners will receive the ultimate Up Close experience – a meet and greet with all the artists.
