Meek and Drizzy aren’t the only ones with “more slaps than the Beatles.”
Brooklyn born and Virginia based MC Prince Marley (combining Prince’s first name with Marley due to the MC’s deep appreciation for the music of Bob Marley) takes the canvas of Meek and Drizzy’s hit and delivers a lesson on the state of the rap game:
“I’m hear to bring the truth/ain’t no muthafuckin’ artist/just a really good hustler, I be grindin’ way smarter.”
Those who appreciate vivid flows, street tales based upon true stories and sharp lyricism will dig this teaser of what’s to come from Prince in 2019.
The original Drake-assisted “Going Bad” is the lead single off Meek Mill’s fourth studio album, Championships. It was produced by Wheezy and Westen Weiss.
