Budding Toronto hip-hop artist Naya Ali recently pulled the trigger on her highly-anticipated album debut, Godspeed: Baptism (Prelude).
The 8-track release features all new music and perfectly demonstrates Ali’s sonic capabilities and versatile approach to making music, as well as her overall growth since releasing her EP Higher Self back in 2018.
With Godspeed, “Naya wishes to put forth her deeper universe; the good and the bad, the dark and the light.”
The “Out The Dirt” rapper brought in just a small handful of guest appearances for the debut including Chase.Wav (“Quick Flip”), Souldia (“Get It Right (Remix)”) and MB (“Get It Right (Remix)”).
The Chase.Wav-assisted “Quick Flip” was recently added to HipHopCanada’s official Spotify playlist, Canadian Fresh.
Along with Spotify, you can find the new album on various other digital streaming platforms including Apple Music and TIDAL.
