Future and Tyla recently teamed up for a fun collaboration with “Game Time,” officially part of FIFA’s official music rollout for this year’s event, which is being held across the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Accompanied by a killer music video, which is closing in on 14 million views, the Cirkut-produced track is the seventh single from the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album. Blending hip-hop and amapiano-influenced pop, Tyla and Future deliver an unexpected pairing that works remarkably well. Future said the song captures the energy and atmosphere of the World Cup as fans around the globe have cheered on their favourite teams when they take the field.
“The World Cup is a global stage. We made a record to match that energy and now it’s Game Time,” he said.
“I’m excited to bring that energy to the opening ceremony in Los Angeles and celebrate this moment with fans around the world.”
Tyla, who is among the performers scheduled for the Mexico City opening ceremony, also reflected on this tremendous moment. “Being part of the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album feels like a full circle moment — from South Africa hosting the World Cup in 2010,” she said in a statement.
The playful single feels like the perfect FIFA collaboration, bringing together Tyla, one of Africa’s fastest-rising pop stars, and Future, a powerhouse of American hip-hop.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will kick off on June 11 in Mexico City and conclude on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium. The highly anticipated tournament will feature 104 matches across 16 host cities.
