Our weekly segment Submission Sundays features the lead single off the upcoming album, The Breadwinner, by acclaimed Danish producer KVBeats. Underground heavy hitters AG (of D.I.T.C.), Reks, Percee P, and DJ Madhandz come together for the KVBeats-produced “Supreme Confidence.”
“Fittingly, the track kicks off with a quote from Mike Tyson’s famous lesson in intimidation and from there, the three emcees dish out lyrical beatdowns worthy of Iron Mike over a crazy head-nodder crafted by the Copenhagen, Denmark producer.”
“Supreme Confidence” is absolutely brimming with slick bars worthy of repeated spins. AG has endless crazy lines about his stature in hip-hop, Reks spits about why he’s one of the best to do it, and Percee P showcases wild technical raps that will leave your head spinning.

The UK’s own DJ Madhandz provides the scratch chorus which cleverly includes dope quotables from underground classics like Pete Rock’s “Tru Master.” This is the lead single off KVBeats’ new album which will be out on Friday, Dec. 21. It boasts guest appearances by Royce da 5’9″, Pacewon, Torae, Phantasm (of Cella Dwellas), Recognize Ali, Chaundon, Beneficence, Little Vic, Rob Swift, and DJ Noize, among others.

Submission Sundays is a segment we introduced in 2018 to show love to the hundreds of artists and groups that submit new material to us weekly. The segment also gives us a chance to show love to people who aren’t already receiving regular coverage on HipHopCanada, and gives them a chance to connect with our viewers.
Each week, we’ll select 8 new submissions and feature them on our homepage for at least a 24 hour period.
