RAXX City: Toronto Rapper Returns With Fiery New Single

TLDR: The new “RAXX City” single is a bold, bass-heavy anthem from Toronto rapper RAXX, capturing raw power, hustle, and unapologetic feminine energy.

Toronto’s flame-spitting phenom RAXX is back with her second drop of 2025, and she didn’t come to play. Her new single, “RAXX City,” is a sonic sledgehammer, a rallying cry for anyone who’s ever been underestimated, overlooked, or boxed in. Over gritty production and a hook built for blast-mode, RAXX delivers razor-edged bars packed with boss energy and diamond-sharp confidence.

“This track is about reclaiming my space and celebrating who I am as a woman, as an artist, and as a leader in my own city,” says RAXX. “‘RAXX City’ isn’t just a place, it’s a mindset. It’s the energy I bring with me everywhere I go.”

“RAXX City” follows the emotionally charged “Matthew,” a raw and honest track that confronted addiction, grief, and mental health head-on. The contrast between the two reveals the full scope of RAXX’s creative depth. Where “Matthew” bared the pain behind the grind, “RAXX City” roars in as the triumphant return, the victory lap after the storm. Together, they mark her first two official releases of 2025, and her first drops since teaming up with Jeffrey Reid Jr. on “Got The Keys” back in July 2023.

Known for viral moments—including just recently catching the attention of Logan Paul—and appearances on CP24, Breakfast Television, and top podcasts, RAXX has proven her reach spans far beyond Toronto. She’s opened for legends like M.O.P. and Rich Homie Quan, while also holding her own as a headliner at festivals like NXNE| and CMW.

“RAXX City” reinforces what fans already know: RAXX is building something bigger than music. It’s a movement rooted in identity, strength, and survival. And it’s only just getting louder! You can find the new single now on Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms, and be sure to check out “Matthew” which is embedded below.

“Matthew was more than a song — it was therapy,” RAXX said of the release. “So many people are fighting battles we can’t see. I wanted to tell his story, and by doing that, tell a piece of mine too.”
