Dose of Mystery has been gaining popularity by releasing short but informative videos looking at the “final hours” or “final days” of well-known rappers or people connected to rappers who’s lives were tragically cut short. Yesterday, we posted DoM’s video about the death of hip-hop legend Big L, and today we’re sharing the video about Chicago’s OTF DThang.
DThang was an aspiring rapper and the older brother of Chicago rap star Lil Durk. He was killed outside of the Club O strip club in Harvey, Illinois on June 5, 2021.
“One evening in 2021, Dontay Banks Jr., better known as OTF DThang and as Lil Durk’s older brother, was at a club in Chicago, having a great time partying with his friends. As it would later be revealed, however, Dthang was partying in his opponents’ territory that night.”
