Queen of the 6ix: Paris Richards & Dub J find early success with new collaborative album

With what could easily be one of the most streamed projects by a Canadian female rapper in 2022, JUNO nominated-producer Dub J and Toronto rapper Paris Richards have made waves with her claim of being Queen of the 6ix. Right out the gate, Queen of the 6ix found success on iTunes charts, reaching the #2 spot just behind the new Kendrick Lamar.

The 10-track album features Dub J production the whole way through with some huge guest appearances from Jully Black and JD Era. So far, the album has racked up over 382K streams on Spotify, with the buzz single, “Whoa Vicky” leading the charge at over 200K streams.

Another big track on the release is “Look At Me,” which was Richards and Dub J’s first official collaboration back in October 2021. The single had a strong marketing push, charted to #1 on iTunes Hip Hop charts, boasted more than 100K views on YouTube and earned a co-sign from Kash Doll.

Overall, Dub J and Richards have an amazing chemistry which is evident right from the “Queen Paris Coronation,” and throughout the dynamic track list.

In other news, Richards recently took her branding a massive step further by securing the official legal trademarking of the term, “Queen of the 6ix.” She’s not playing when it comes to the Paris Richards brand. Check out the new album below, and stay tuned for more stunning visuals released in support of the album.
