‘I’m Getting Cooked…’ KSI Addresses Hate for “Thick Of It”

TLDR: KSI took to YouTube to address the hate he’s received for his new single, “Thick Of It.” And he took the criticism in stride as he sat through a series of brutal TikTok videos crapping on his efforts.

If anyone still doubts KSI’s social media dominance, the response to his low-budget video addressing the backlash to his track “Thick Of It” (featuring Trippie Redd) should put it to rest. The video quickly shot to the top of YouTube’s trending list, amassing 1.5 million views since its October 5 release.

KSI’s video, titled I’m getting cooked…, hilariously showcases him reacting to a series of brutal TikToks roasting his new single. He kicks off the video by saying, “Now, I know a lot of people have been enjoying the song and making some funny TikToks with it.” To his credit, KSI takes the criticism in stride, fully aware of the viral content he’d be featuring.

The TikTok jabs are relentless, with one user saying, “KSI’s new song is a banger… if you listen to it on mute.” The YouTube comments aren’t any softer. “The fact that he genuinely likes the song makes it even funnier,” wrote user @SuphaFreak, while others joked that KSI looked like he was on the verge of tears.
