Up-and-coming Baton Rouge recording artist JoshSimmons recently gave the size of his fanbase a major boost with “WOOD GRAIN.” The catchy single was posted to streaming platforms back in May, and a supporting video was initially released at the end of August—co-directed by Simmons and videographer Ugo Njoku.
While “WOOD GRAIN” quickly proved to be one of Simmons’ most successful video releases to date—pulling in 30K view in 4 months—the Jan. 3, 2023 VEVO re-post would really demonstrate how popular the song was becoming. That version of the clip has already pulled in over 40K views since its premiere.
Striking while the iron is hot, Simmons has a next video on deck with a new Dennis Films-directed video for “SITUATION” set to premiere tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
Both “WOOD GRAIN” and “SITUATION” can be found on Simmons’ new project, Demo, which is officially out today on Col-Der-Sac.
