As things heat up on the West Coast, we’re seeing a number of artists pick up their bars and release some of the best music to come out of the area to date. Vancouver-based emcee Immerze just dropped his latest single “SAFE” and the Blasain-produced track is among this group of releases. This track encompasses Immerze’s recent growth as an artist, and also serves as an invigorating call to arms for other local artists and peers who have been sleeping on him.
On “SAFE” Immerze raps, “Know yourself know your place/If I don’t rock with you, it’s cause you waste/Please don’t give me daps, we ain’t friends we ain’t cool/I just hop up in my coup, all I know is get the loot/I don’t know why these nigg*s lying in the booth.”
