George Floyd’s senseless murder in Minneapolis sparked a wave of protests in cities across the US, and it wasn’t long before demonstrations kicked off around the world.
Inequality and police brutality are issues that impact people globally, and change comes from citizens of the world standing up against oppression.

With that desire for change in mind, the Hip-Hop Loves Foundation has brought together three artists from three different countries to address the injustice.
Wyze Wonda of Toronto, Xidus Pain, who hails from Peterborough, UK located roughly 125 km from London, and Brooklyn rapper Sir HighLighT have teamed up for the new song “Burning Crosses.”
The Chris IPop-produced single will be featured on Hip-Hop Loves Foundation’s new project Stop Shooting which is expected to drop on Oct. 12.

The Hip-Hop Loves Foundation posted the following message on their Instagram: “The creation of this song was inspired for creating equality in our global community. We need to have love and respect for each other for our world to flourish in the space of humanity. This is the first single off of the ‘Stop Shooting’ Project that will be released on October 12th.”.
