G Herbo’s Big Swerv Release: Global Spinning Video and More Surprises

Platinum-selling Chicago hip-hop luminary G Herbo drops off a music video for a fan favourite song, “Global Spinning” featuring BabyDrill, to celebrate the release of his successful new project, Big Swerv (September 6).

Capturing the influence of G Herbo’s reach, the music video for “Global Spinning” finds him moving through crowds with the stature of a leader, grit intact. G Herbo and Atlanta rapper BabyDrill unload verses among fireworks and four-wheelers joined by notable figures such as ATL Jacob.

“Global Spinning” is a highlight from the new G Herbo project Big Swerv, which peaked #1 on Apple’s Hip-Hop/Rap albums and #2 overall albums charts. His fans eagerly awaited the release as it landed with much critical acclaim. The Source praised, “his highly anticipated new project, Big Swerv, marking a significant step forward both artistically and personally.” Elsewhere, he appeared on camera for interviews with Big Boy, Real 92.3, and WGCI.

Big Swerv arrived with a music video for “Candyman.” Amplifying his signature sound, the album includes songs for every mood. On “Ten” with Sexyy Red, he creates a raucous anthem for the ladies. While “In The A” epitomizes his relationship with Atlanta, his second home, the city has been instrumental in sending his career to the next level. Never straying far from Chicago, longtime collaborator and friend Chief Keef is also present on the album’s “No Pics”. Big Swerv finds Herbo tapping in with rising stars like Rob49, BabyDrill, and Skilla Baby on the recently released “Shoot.”

On the eve of Big Swerv’s arrival, Rolling Stone visited Herbo in Chicago for an exclusive and extensive profile. In reference to the new project, the outlet praised how “it’s also him doing something he hasn’t previously been able to do: let loose with his music.”

In 2022, he made a major statement by dropping the double-album opus Survivor’s Remorse: A Side & B Side. In addition to achieving critical acclaim, it included guest appearances by Jeremih, Future, Offset, Gunna, Benny The Butcher, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Young Thug, Meek Mill, Conway, and Kodak Black.

However, he’s got more music and surprises in store. This is G Herbo’s time. You can find Big Swerv on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms via Republic Records.
