Drake reveals he’s taking time off from making music for health reasons

Shortly after dropping his latest album, Drake revealed his intention to take a step back from the limelight for an extended period. The announcement came during today’s appearance on SiriusXM’s Table for One on Sound 42.

Drake candidly shared, “I’m probably going to take a break from making music for a while. My primary focus is my health, nothing too extreme, just a desire for everyone to lead a healthy life.”

He elaborated on the health concerns, specifically related to his stomach, stating, “I need to prioritize my well-being and get myself back on track.”

In line with this decision, Drake mentioned his plan to close the studio up for an undefined duration, possibly up to a year, to concentrate on his health and overall well-being. This move underscores his commitment to maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
