We were back inside the Southern District of New York courtroom this past Friday for Day 18 of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal trial, where the witness only known only as Jane resumed her testimony. The day unfolded with layered accounts of alleged drug-fuelled encounters, emotional pressure, and increasingly blurred lines between consent and control.
Jane attempted to remain composed throughout most of the day, but multiple breakdowns in the afternoon painted a complex picture of what prosecutors allege was a pattern of manipulation, surveillance, and sexual coercion behind closed doors.
Inside the “Hotel Nights”
Jane described what she said Diddy called “freak-offs”— hotel nights involving multiple rounds of sex with multiple male entertainers while Diddy watched. She said she never felt like she had a say in whether condoms were used and claimed that even when she tried to set boundaries, Diddy would push back. “You better not ask for a condom,” she recalled him allegedly saying.
The court heard that Diddy would sometimes instruct her to go “1–3 rounds” with each man, and Jane said these sessions often left her emotionally drained. She recounted once crying in the shower after one of the “hotel nights” and said she “clung to” Diddy for comfort despite feeling saddened about the situation as a whole. “I didn’t want to disappoint my partner,” she tearfully told the jury.

Drug Deliveries and Alleged Package Runs
Jane also testified about Diddy’s alleged drug binders during those encounters. She said when he would run out of drugs, his assistants and personal security would allegedly go and bring him more, Jane recounted seeing ecstasy, molly, and cocaine. Names like Brendan, Frank, Faheim, and a man referred to as Guido were mentioned as people in Diddy’s circle who allegedly helped him obtain whatever type of drug he wanted.
Jane also claimed she was asked to carry a “package” for Diddy on a flight from Los Angeles to Miami when she asked if it was okay to fly with it, she was told by his assistant KK to “just put it in your carry-on.”
Booking the Entertainers Herself
According to Jane, she eventually began coordinating these “hotel nights” individually, choosing who would participate, so that she would have some sort of say in who she would sleep with.
She named two male entertainers—Kupral and Anton—as individuals she regularly booked more than once. She testified that she paid them in cash, allegedly provided by Diddy but handed over by her. One of the men, she said, was booked after her and Diddy watched the entertainers porn together.
In another case, she testified that Diddy sat nearby as she Facetimed an entertainer, while she would talk sexually to the entertainer, often asking the chosen entertainer to show his private parts.
Physical assault and coercion
Jane also recounted a June 18, 2024 incident—roughly one month after the Cassie surveillance footage surfaced—where she alleged that Diddy became physically violent, choking, punching, kicking, and dragging her. She testified that afterward, he gave her ecstasy and summoned a male entertainer, directing her to perform a sexual act while he watched.

Emotional Collapse on the Stand
The courtroom fell silent as Jane cried while recalling a birthday encounter. She said she assumed a sex position just to “get it over with.” Prosecutors played an audio clip from one of the alleged “hotel nights,” though the recording was muffled and hard to decipher. Prosecutors identified Jane’s voice—Jane then said the laughter heard was her “pretending to enjoy it.”
She also testified that she would book flights and cover entertainer costs out of pocket but would later be reimbursed by Diddy. When asked why she went through with it even when Combs said she didn’t have to, she answered, “I did it to make him happy.”
Concerns Over Her Identity Surface
Before court adjourned, Jane’s attorney raised concerns about social media influencers and media outlets’ attempts to expose Jane’s identity online. They told the court that they would like for Judge Arun Subramanian to explore legal options to help protect Jane’s identity due to growing concerns over harassment as well as fears for Jane’s overall privacy and security.
Day 18 ended without cross-examination. Court resumes Tuesday morning, with the defence expected to begin its cross of Jane’s testimony. We will continue delivering on-the-ground coverage from inside the courtroom as the federal trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to unfold.
