Today’s Song of the Day is the second single and title track off the latest album, On a Quest, from Ottawa rapper Dynamic (aka Ya Favourite Lightskin) and producer/engineer Quest.
The video for “On a Quest” was co-directed by Dynamic and Quest, with Aspects credited for support on the editing.

On A Quest is a joint venture from the hard working duo, with both working in the scene for over a decade. This project shows their growth on both sides. As far as style, it covers everything from boom bap to new trap and anything in between. It features the already released video and single “On My Own” (featuring Kassidy Mackinnon) and there are seven more songs to be released along with visuals, so be on the lookout.

Born into the low-income housing projects of Ottawa’s Centretown, Dynamic has overcome his fair share of hardships. He dedicated himself to taking steps to make positive change in his life after overcoming attempted murder charges some years ago. Along with the new collaboration with Quest, Dynamic also continues to host his radio show, Bring Ya Eh Game.
