West Coast budding rap star Kresnt has released a pair of new tracks recently including our latest Song of the Day.
It started a few days ago with “Big.Fax,” and today Kresnt unleashed his latest offering with the “Kresnt Freestyle.”
The Young Jin-produced lyrical smash “Big.Fax” starts off with label mate Alon.Wav who recently joined the independent hip-hop collective that is The Lunar Cycle. The rapper-singer from the Philippines, who is currently residing in Vancouver, is set to release his debut album early April 2020. Known for his smooth melodies, Alon really switches up his flow on “Big.Fax” to showcase his versatility.
Kresnt finishes the banger off with his Weezy-influenced cocky punchline flow, which fits well with the timing as he is the latest cover of Amazon Music’s Canadian hip-hop playlist.
On the “Kresnt Freestyle”—HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day—we see Kresnt take his bars to new heights while finishing the tracks with a double time flow. Kresnt recorded the banger with Praxis Sound after he heard the Young Jin drums, he just put out a 64 bar freestyle and polished the hook for the final touch.
