Excitement continues to build for a new Kendrick Lamar album as the Compton rapper took to the stage this past Friday for his first live performance of the year.
“It’s been 365 day, times two, since I’ve seen you,” Lamar told an energetic Day N Vegas Festival crowd in Las Vegas.
Lamar’s performance included cuts from each of his five albums, and alluded to some big career developments which would be coming soon. Back in August, he announced that he was working on his final album on TDE but very limited information about the project has been released.
“Following a four-year hiatus, Lamar teased his final album under the TDE label on his website oklama.com along with posts on his social media accounts. Lamar later re-emerged with the single, ‘Family Ties’ alongside his cousin and PGLang’s first signee, Baby Keem. He also appeared on Keem’s album, The Melodic Blue, on the songs ‘Range Brothers’ and ‘Vent,’ as well as ‘Family Ties.'” – Wikipedia
