A few days ago, Cree-Métis singer-songwriter, producer, and rapper Joey Stylez returned with his first official drop of the year.
The new single “Simplistic” comes exactly a month after the release of “Filthy $” which has pulled in close to 4K streams on Spotify to date.
Back in November, Stylez dropped a compelling self-produced single, “The Wild,” along with an equally captivating video. The song focuses on uplifting and overcoming everyday struggles.
“As Native Americans, we pride ourselves in being land protectors and social rights activists, but on this one, we just wanted to create a mood that could lift people from their problems.” – Joey Stylez
Directed by Aurelien Offner, “The Wild” visual does a great job bringing the song’s narrative to life. The aesthetic perfectly complements the raw energy and authenticity that Stylez has come to be known for.
You can find “Simplistic” on Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms.
