Vancouver Island-based recording artist ISSA recently dropped a fresh video in support of his forthcoming EP debut, Inside Something Stayed Awake.
The visually stunning “Plata O Plomo,” featuring Tikid, was shot and edited by Carlos Guerra, and released through Deux Monts and North Side. Veteran engineer Ruffneck was enlisted for mixing and mastering.

About ISSA
From the town of Saguegnay in rural Québec to the top of your playlist comes a story of self made success.
Jean Francis Bolduc aka ISSA was born in 1985 and by the tender age of 15 he new he would have to hustle to create his future. He seized every business opportunity, without fear, learning the streets inside and out. His fearlessness and creativity quickly inspired his rap beginnings and he started recording his original music by 18. He spent many years refining his lyrical talents always understanding that talent alone would not suffice.
In 2008, a 23-year-old ISSA moved to Western Canada and began learning the framing trade, after a short six month stint as labourer he began his own business ventures. His first construction business, FPC Construction began funding his artistic ventures and eventually became NFO Solutions and this business gave him the funding to back his rap career.
By early 2018, he had established two other major parent organizations Tuxedo Group Media and NorthSide Records. Tuxedo Group Media started the construction reality series, The Site, which is in promotion stage.
In the fall of 2018, ISSA soft launched his first single and video “H.D.I.G.U.H.” which proceeds his still unreleased EP, Inside Something Stayed Awake.
The EP will explore his raw beginnings and his journey to success. ISSA preaches his message of seizing every opportunity and grinding in a society made ill by a broken system. He is currently residing in British Columbia, Canada on Vancouver Island; just building an empire…
