6th annual Hip Hop Food Drive to broadcast from 6 Canadian cities between Dec. 15-20

Our friends at Bring Ya Eh Game our gearing up for their 6th annual Hip Hop Food Drive.

Taking place virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hip Hop Food Drive will take place in six different Canadian cities, and will feature performances by various artists between December 15th and December 20th.

During the online performances you’ll be able to donate via e-transfer to [email protected]. The money raised will be donated to six food banks located in Vancouver, Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Ottawa and Kingston. Donations are set to be distributed to Share the Warmth, Covenant House, Calgary Food Bank, Partners in Mission Food Bank, The Scott Mission, and The Ottawa Mission.

The event will be hosted by Dynamic aka Ya Favourite Lightskin from Ottawa’s CHUO 89.1 FM.

Day 1 of the event will stream from Montréal and will feature Dix-Iple Deca, Viva Lableue, Jo Compadre, Lorelai Lahiri, and DJ Caz.

Day 2 of the event will stream from Vancouver and will feature Ctrik, Tinywiings, Ndidi Cascade, Junk, Bella Cat, and DJ Goadman.

Day 3 of the event will stream from Kingston, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta and will feature S-cape Artist W/ Shook Planet & Keston, Co Accused (Stax x Cept), Dirty Doc, Keston, Sarafin, and DJ Red Pig.

Day 4 of the event will feature in Toronto and will feature Eyon, Mellow & Niekoh, Cheko Salaam, Blake Camden, Phillie, Young Stitch, Dan-e-o, Mo’ Spence, and DJ Darryl Q.

Day 5, the last day of the event, will stream from Ottawa and will feature performances by DJ Ducats, Roja Valentine, Mista Jones, Moov Ottawa, and DJ Daddy Rich.

Along with the performance lineup, the Hip Hop Food Drive will feature some words from special guests including Maestro Fresh Wes, Lex Leosis, Peter Jackson, Aspects, City Fidelia, and more!
