Genius: Takashi Murakami breaks down collaborations with Drake, Juice WRLD & others

Takashi Murakami reflects on more than a decade’s worth of music collaborations spanning his album art for Kanye West’s Graduation, to more recent visuals with KIDS SEE GHOSTS, Billie Eilish, and J Balvin.

Genius News recently connected with popular Japanese visual artist Takashi Murakami to discuss his impressive career and influence on hip-hop.

“In an exclusive conversation with Genius News, Takashi Murakami reflects on more than a decade’s worth of music collaborations spanning his album art for Kanye West’s Graduation to recent visuals with KIDS SEE GHOSTS, Billie Eilish, and J Balvin.”

Murakami also revealed that he had Juice WRLD had visited his Tokyo studio just a few weeks prior to the Chicago rapper’s untimely passing. Murakami also discusses working with Drake, and the Instagram post Drake made that sparked their relationship.
