Drake moves into new $65 million mega mansion in Beverly Hills

Drake has reportedly moved into a newly built mansion in the lavish Trousdale Estates, an exclusive neighbourhood located in Beverly Hills. The 18,000-square-foot property, built on a half-acre property, was listed earlier this year with a $65 million price tag, and Drake has taken up residence as a tenant. The online listing currently lists the price at $56,603,400, but also indicates the property is not for sale.

According to Dirt.com, the property features “a 20-foot stone waterfall that cascades down from an exterior moat, passing through the home’s dining room before pooling into a semi-subterranean courtyard, where the water wraps around a 15-foot-tall olive tree imported from Italy — planted using a crane and a 15-person crew.”

And that’s just touching the surface.

“Other nifty features in the home’s 18,000 square feet include a double-height marble atrium entryway, a sinuously curved spiral staircase, a movie theater, bespoke Minotti furniture and an all-custom kitchen with pricey Gaggenau appliances and a marble island, plus a separate ‘catering’ kitchen with Viking appliances.”

Although it’s only a rental, Drake is already the owner of several other properties including the YOLO Estate, a 12,500 square foot mansion in California’s Hidden Hills. According to RapTV:

“A few years following the purchase of the first estate, Drake bought the neighboring home for about $3 million and then later would buy the other neighbor’s 1950s ranch-style home for around $4.5 million. Together, these three buildings form the 6.7 acre Hidden Hills compound that has come to be known as YOLO Estate.”

His other home, as Kanye made sure everyone was aware earlier in the year, is located in the Bridal Path neighbourhood of his hometown, Toronto. The 19th-century limestone manor is 50,000 square feet.
