Vancouver’s Boslen reflects on his sacrifices with latest single “Tell Me Why”

Today, Vancouver’s breaking artist Boslen releases his new single “Tell Me Why” via Chaos Club Digital / Warner Music Canadalisten here. Inspired by the 2012 film The Place Beyond the Pines, the new single encapsulates the fine balance between chasing your ambitions and the sacrifices involved, especially time away from loved ones.

“The song reflects the dual nature of sacrifice,” Boslen says on the release. “It is hard to give up on some of the most important things in life while chasing your dreams.”

The official music video, directed by Boslen and Christian Santiago, sees exclusive footage of Boslen on tour and connecting with fans, documenting his transformative journey as he embarks on a new chapter in his music career – watch here.

Boslen’s first solo release of 2023 kicked off with the introspective release “Santa Muerte,” setting the tone for a year filled with carefully curated music. What followed was the irresistibly addictive track “Crazy,” that not only embraced his signature melodies and catchy hooks but unveiled a fresh narrative perspective, demonstrating his remarkable ability to continually evolve as an artist.

Boslen, who was nominated for a Rap Album of the Year at the 2023 JUNO Awards for his GONZO EP, is set to release his sophomore album, Conversations Over Dinner, in 2024. “Tell Me Why” is available now on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms.
