Black Women With Wings is a gallery and show comprised of photography, film and poetry directed by Keosha Love.
This project will explore Keosha’s artistry and identity as a black woman. Making her debut as a creative director, Keosha will be screening her first short film alongside new creative work on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 inside MAY (876 Dundas Street West).
As an extension of Our Women’s Voices this project will also continue as a platform for femme black creatives and will showcase their work online and through seasonal galleries and shows. The purpose of this project is to highlight + represent black women in the creative industry.
Keosha aims to open more paid opportunities for black women and inspire young black women everywhere to pursue their artistic journey.
The showcase will feature music and all new poetry selections written by Keosha and in collaboration with a few of her favourite black women making moves in Toronto.
