Drake Breaks Multiple Billboard Records With Historic Trilogy

TLDR: Drake made Billboard history after Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour claimed the top three spots on the Billboard 200 while “Janice STFU” broke Michael Jackson’s Hot 100 record.

Drake has spent the better part of the last decade rewriting Billboard history, but even by his standards, this latest run feels excessive. With the release of Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, the Toronto superstar hasn’t just dominated the charts, he’s completely reshaped them.

Billboard 200: Making History

In a week that felt less like an album rollout and more like a full-scale cultural takeover, Drake became the first artist in history to simultaneously hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200 albums chart. As reported by CBC, this is “the first time three albums by the same musician take up the three highest positions on the chart in the same week.”

Iceman landed at No. 1, followed by Habibti at No. 2 and Maid of Honour at No. 3. The feat also gave Drake his 15th No. 1 album, tying Taylor Swift for the most chart-topping albums by a solo artist while officially surpassing Jay-Z among solo male acts.

The numbers behind the sweep were equally staggering. Iceman reportedly moved 463,000 equivalent album units in its opening week while generating more than 462 million streams, giving Drake the biggest streaming week of 2026 so far.

But the domination didn’t stop at albums.

Hot 100: Drake Beats Michael

On the Billboard Hot 100, Drake’s explosive single “Janice STFU” debuted at No. 1, giving him his 14th career chart-topper and pushing him past Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 singles by a solo male artist.

According to XXL, Drake now owns an astonishing 90 top-10 records overall, while 42 songs from the new trilogy landed on this week’s Hot 100 chart.

Complex noted that Drake has now become the first artist in Billboard history to surpass 400 career Hot 100 entries, extending his record total from 362 to 402 songs.

The records themselves almost feel secondary to the scale of the moment. Iceman arrived as Drake’s coldest and most confrontational project in years, taking direct aim at fallout from his feud with Kendrick Lamar and tensions with Universal Music Group. Habibti leaned into smoother, emotionally driven territory, while Maid of Honour embraced left turns — blending dancehall-inspired grooves, Chicago juke rhythms, glossy synth-pop textures and warped dance samples into one of the strangest releases of Drake’s career.

For an artist already buried under platinum plaques and streaming milestones, the trilogy has somehow managed to reset the scoreboard yet again. At this point, Drake’s biggest competition might just be his own catalogue.”
