The Narrative Of... Marcus Haran: Evolution of an Artist (Episode 3)

Storytelling is a powerful way to change minds, drive action, and spark creativity.

Hip-hop at its core is a powerful form of storytelling. When you combine a dope musical narrative with the compelling personal story of an artist you create something that has the force and energy to inspire and cause people to reflect and even react.

We captured just a portion of Marcus Haran’s story in Episode 3 of our The Narrative Of… series, but it’s enough to impact the way you view him as an artist and the way you take in his art.

The Narrative Of... Marcus Haran: Evolution of an Artist (Episode 3)

The Toronto rapper sat down with us for a truly raw and authentic conversation about his life and journey in music leading up to the release of his latest EP, MARCUS HARAN: A TRUE STORY. A SOUNDSCAPE TO IN-DIFFERENCE.

From fleeing the civil war in Sri Lanka with his family, to being used as a drug mule in the streets of Paris by his father, to experiencing ridicule because of his skin condition vitiligo, Marcus bares all in this intimate talk.
