World-renowned superstar Drake has literally dozens of songs with over a 50+ million streams, and even a pair that have passed a billion, but other Canadian artists are also putting up impressive numbers.

Including Drake’s “One Dance” by which sits at 1.85 billion streams and is one of the top Spotify uploads of all-time, here are nine other tracks by Canadian hip-hop artists that have been streamed 50 million times or more.

Honourable Mentions

Here’s a few other tracks putting up numbers that we wanted to highlight. Some of these even have more streams than some of the tracks we picked for our list.

Kardinal Offishall – Dangerous

Kardi’s big hit with Akon was released before the popularity of platforms like Spotify, but has still managed to rack up another 50 million+ streams on the platform.

Roy Woods – Drama

The Drake-assisted single is officially classified as “R&B/Soul” but Woods has enough hip-hop history to be included here. “Drama” was featured on his 2015 EP Exis, which actually contains 2 tracks with over 50 million streams: “Drama” (210 million) and “Get You Good” (83 million).

Powfu – Death Bed

West Coast alternative rapper Powfu will be dropping a new EP later this month with his beabadoobee-sampled “death bed” single leading the promotional charge. The song has over 302 million streams to date since blowing up on TikTok. Powfu has had some songs crack the 10 million mark over the years (another one that dropped last year and another tune from 2018), but none that have blown up quite like “death bed.” Poems of the Past will be out on May 15. We’re especially looking forward to checking out the “death bed (Blink 182 Remix).”

Drake – God’s Plan / In My Feelings

The only other songs by a Canadian hip-hop artist to achieve more than a billion streams, both off of Scorpion. “One Dance” is likely to retain the top spot for Drake for a while longer, but both “God’s Plan” and “In My Feelings” are big enough to dethrone it as Drake’s biggest single.
