It’s been another sad day for hip-hop as news spreads of the passing of Digital Underground co-founder and mainstay, Shock G.

Earlier today, Shock G’s father Edward Racker released a statement confirming the news. The rap legend was found Thursday in a Tampa hotel room but the cause of death has yet to be released.
