Festival Season king, Anderson .Paak (along with The Free Nationals) and XXL 2015 Freshman Class member Vince Staples, are headlining the highly anticipated Safe & Sound Music Fest in Vancouver this August (24-25). And they’re backed by an an incredible lineup of talent; truly a little something for everyone’s eclectic tastes.
We were also told that this is could be the first official festival appearance from Toronto budding star, anders. Although we weren’t able to verify that, it’s definitely one of his first times on the festival stage so don’t miss out! Anderson .Paak and Vince Staples headline 2 Day Music Fest

Safe & Sound Entertainment returns this summer with an incredible 2 days of live music programming for the Safe & Sound Music Fest (SSMF) taking place Friday, Aug. 24 – Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 at Westminster Pier Park in New Westminster.
Headlined by Anderson .Paak, Vince Staples, Alina Baraz, Sabrina Claudio, Goldlink and SonReal, the boutique festival will play host to an impressive lineup featuring a hybrid selection of R&B and hip hop centric local and international talent.
“After a great first year with the SSMF, we were excited to build on our decision to create a boutique festival experience based around live contemporary R&B and hip hop music,” explains Paul Stoilen, President of Safe & Sound Entertainment.
“With Anderson .Paak set to release a new album later this year, our accessible waterfront location at Westminster Pier Park will be an incredible venue for fans to experience his music in person.”
“As a Vancouver, based hospitality company, we work with many local artists on a regular basis and having the opportunity to invite them to perform on our SSMF stage is a real honour. One of the reasons why we wanted to do a two day festival in the first place was so that we could showcase more local talent including the SJS DJs, The Freshest, Niña Mendoza, So Loki, Angst, Sophia Denai, Kenny Gourmet and more.”
2 day general admission and VIP admission tickets for SSMF will be available starting June 4, 2018 at SafeandSoundfest.com. Single day tickets will be available at a later date.
