Earlier today, popular YouTube channel Hood War Chronicles released a new video looking at the “The INSANE Rise of FBG Gang: From 8th Grade to Kings of Chicago.” FBG (Fly Boy Gang), who’s most known member is the late FBG Duck, has been one of the most influential groups in Chicago drill since its rise in the early 2010’s.
A few years ago, we ran a feature on FBG that was quite popular with our views. “FBG Young, FBG Dutchie & the rise of Chicago’s Fly Boy Gang movement” focused mostly on members Duck, FBG Dutchie and FBG Young, as well as others like the late FBG Cash and Wooski.
As Hood War Chronicles reports: “Dallin Stevens, aka Dutchie, grew up in a strict household with his mother and older sister. His mom didn’t play around when it came to discipline, and Dutchie was known to run from her when things got heated. Despite the strict upbringing, Dutchie was no stranger to trouble. He started smoking weed and getting into fights at an early age. Kids in the neighborhood looked up to him, but he was also the one getting his friends into sticky situations growing up.”
Hoor War Chronicles has covered the FBG team in the past, with a video looking at Duck’s tragic murder, and the people who were ultimately charged with killing him, “O-Block’s DUMBEST Gangsters – From Killing FBG Duck to Self-Snitching.”
