Madchild & Obnoxious release “Lost Cause” video in support of Mobsters & Monsters

Coming in support of their Dec. 2022 collaborative release, Mobsters & Monsters, San Diego’s Obnoxious and Vancouver’s Madchild return with new visuals powered by director Jake Handegard. The St3v3n-produced “Lost Cause” is one of the standouts from the project which features tracks with Sick Jacken from Psycho Realm, Henry AZ, and Ouiji Macc.

“We knocked out another video with my brother Obnoxious. It was a great experience making this collab album Mobsters and Monsters together.” said Madchild. “As far as wordplay, bars, and delivery, I think OB is one of the toughest up-and-coming rappers. I look forward to watching him come up in the game.”

Mobsters & Monsters is a back-to-basics approach to hip-hop with machete-sharp rhymes and smashing hard-hitting beats. The album is eerily reminiscent of the days of La Coka Nostra, Jedi Mind Tricks, and Psycho Realm’s brand of hip-hop. In a world where everybody is trying to go one way and following the latest trend of the week, Madchild and Obnoxious have decided to stop paying attention to what everyone else is doing and just stick to what they do best; delivering precision cutting rhymes. No gimmicks, no smoke, no mirrors – just going with the timeless concept that iron sharpens iron.

Madchild is getting ready to embark on a massive 64-date Canadian tour starting on March 22 in Calgary, AB and running through June. “Lost Cause” and Mobsters & Monsters are availble now on Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms via Regime Music Group.
