British rapper M.I.A. calls out Jay-Z, Roc Nation, Joe Biden & more in Twitter rant over child custody

British rapper and producer M.I.A. took to X (formerly Twitter) earlier today to unleash a scatching rant over the custody of her son.

Starting at around 4:55 ET this morning, the messages on her account began with “I HAVE TO WAIT TILL A REPUBLICAN WINS. WOW,” and then 17 more messages followed over a six hour period after that. The messages targeted various groups and politicians, Jay-Z, Roc Nation, and even Beyoncé’s younger sister, Solange.

M.I.A. officially signed Roc Nation management in May 2012, and then announced she was leaving the company just a year and a half later. M.I.A. has long since claimed that Roc Nation was sabotoged the release of her fourth studio album, Matangi, and has now made some strong accusations surrounding the custody of her son.

“BE VERY CLEAR WHY MY MATHANGI RECORD WAS BURIED IN 2013.” – M.I.A.
