Tina Knowles is making it clear that family comes first. As reported by E! News, After Kanye West took to X (formerly Twitter) to post offensive remarks about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, Tina responded in her own signature way—without even mentioning his name.
Posting a lighthearted Instagram video on March 19, Tina, 71, took a playful approach, sharing a joke with her followers. “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum?” she asked before delivering the punchline. “He has a meltdown.” With a knowing smile, she let the message speak for itself.
The timing of Tina’s post was no coincidence, as it came amid another round of controversial social media outbursts from Kanye. Along with targeting the Carter family, the rapper also took aim at his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, alleging she was trying to block him from releasing a song featuring their daughter North and embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Kanye’s now-deleted posts included screenshots of alleged text exchanges with Kim, where she reportedly told him, “I sent paperwork over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song to protect her.” Another message from Kim reminded Kanye that North’s name was trademarked for her own future use, not his.
While Kim has remained silent on Kanye’s latest tirade, she has previously spoken about the difficulties of co-parenting with him. “Sometimes you’re in this alone, even though we have great support systems,” she shared in a past interview.
As for Tina, her response was classic Knowles family style—graceful, strategic, and just shady enough to get the message across.
