Over the last year and some change, seasoned emcee and producer Theo3 (aka Theology 3) has woken up and laced his Instagram followers with his organically produced series, “Morning Bars.” It’s been all about the Toronto artist waking up and letting loose with a barrage of sounds, styles and lyrics over a wide variety of different beats. Essentially, a daily recording and writing exercise that goes in on various hot topic issues and subjects.
Now, almost a year later, we’re thrilled to announce that Theo is teaming up with HipHopCanada for Morning Bars Live, leveling up with some of the best emcees, DJs, producers and multi-instrumentalists in the world.
Mathematik is promoting his new album REAL/is/Him.
Episode 1 is a true collaboration as we meet up in downtown Toronto with the all around threat Mathematik, who jumps on the turntables and shows his DJ chops. Music provided by the legendary Gang Starr, salute to Hip Hop Hall of Fame producer DJ Premier, and of course the late OG Emcee, G.U.R.U.
Math is currently promoting his latest album, REAL/is/Him, which was released via URBNET on Mar. 1. We asked him about being part of the new series:

In Episode 1.2 of Morning Bars Live, Math slices up the heavy Just Blaze-produced “Line Em Up” by Philly heavyweight, Freeway. Wishing him a full recovery from his recent surgery. Dope Emcee.
Morning Bars Live has been in the works for a couple of months now, but Theo has already brought the brand outside of Instagram. Two mixtapes have already been released in connection to the series, including #MBV2 which can be streamed and downloaded at Theology3.com (there’s a full video playlist on there as well).
