Ghostboyrj To Release Album State of Mind March 28

TLDR: Toronto recording artist and producer Ghostboyrj is gearing up to release his new album State of Mind, a self-produced project blending jazz-infused hip-hop, sharp lyricism, and standout collaborations.


Rising Toronto artist Ghostboyrj, creator of GHO$TOWN RECORD$, returns with State of Mind, a self-produced album that offers a deep dive into his psyche, experiences, and personal philosophies.

Blending jazz-infused hip-hop with sharp lyricism and atmospheric production, the project pushes genre boundaries while crafting the perfect soundtrack for everyday life.

Released on March 7, the “Black & Blue” music video brings the project to life. Filmed by Gonçalo Sousa, Ghostboy took creative control, handling the editing, coloring, production, mixing, and mastering.

With an elevated approach to both production and songwriting, State of Mind features standout collaborations, including Jon Kabongo on “Super Intentional, BKRSCLB’s Gritfall and The 6th Letter on “Shadow Man,” and and Roshin on “Stone Cold,” among others.

The album delivers a refreshing and immersive sonic experience, inviting listeners to step into the world of Ghostboyrj. Get ready to experience State of Mind.

The State of Mind album by Ghostboyrj will be available tomorrow, Friday, March 28, on Canadian indie record label, URBNET. You can pre-save and pre-add the project now on all major digital streaming platforms.

Along with the new project from Ghostboyrj, URBNET has several other big projects on their release schedule including the Myopic Bubble album by West Coast Canadian legend Moka Only on Friday, April 11, followed by the Myopic Bubble (Instrumentals) album on Friday, April 25.
