A week after Drake released his new record smashing album, For The Record presents a panel discussion that breaks down certain highlights of the project.

For the discussion, Genius’ VP of Content Strategy Rob Markman brought in Amazon’s Rap Rotation Radio host Letty Peniche, and Toronto-based Erin Lowers, Artist Partnership Lead at TikTok. All three panelists offer their perspective of Certified Lover Boy, and how it compares to his previous bodies of work.

“Last week, Drake dropped his highly anticipated album, Certified Lover Boy. The album, which smashed streaming records on both Apple Music and Spotify, is packed with features from Travis Scott, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj and many more. Just yesterday, Drake made history by becoming the first artist ever to hold nine of the top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 200. He’s also the first artist since The Beatles to hold down the entire Top 5 on the chart, with the Future and Young Thug-assisted “Way 2 Sexy” leading the charge.
