El Carro de Shakira: A Chance To Win a Lamborghini

Pop star Shakira is obviously not a hip-hop artist, but a new content she’s running would certainly be of interest to U.S.-based hip-hop heads… who wouldn’t want to win “El Carro do Shakira,” a Lamborghini Urus S?

The Lamborghini Urus S, aka “El Carro do Shakira,” was a gift the pop star bought for herself following her high-profile split from Gerard Piqué. In a heartfelt social media post, she described it as a symbol of resilience and optimism during a difficult time. But as she reflected on happiness, Shakira realized that material things pale in comparison to the value of human connections. Now, she’s gifting the car as part of a contest tied to her latest single, “Soltera,” a celebration of independence and self-love.

Entering the contest is simple yet creatively demanding. Fans must submit videos dancing to “Soltera”—either mimicking the official choreography or adding their own twist. Entries are posted on Instagram Reels or TikTok with the hashtag #ElCarroDeShakira. Five finalists will be chosen by Shakira and her team, with the winner determined by public vote on December 5. The prize includes the Lamborghini, valued at $195,000, and $90,000 in cash to cover expenses.

While only U.S. residents aged 18 and up can compete, the contest underscores Shakira’s bond with her global fanbase. She’s not just giving away a luxury car; she’s sharing a piece of her journey, a testament to moving forward and finding joy.

Submissions must be uploaded before November 29, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET, and the winner will be announced on December 6 during the morning show Despierta América. Shakira’s message is clear: life’s greatest treasures aren’t in the driveway but in the moments we create with loved ones.
