Our Song of the Day is the new Dave East-assisted single, “Is U Down” by budding Rexdale rapper, Pvrx.
Signing with Def Jam in 2017, Pvrx (pronounced Py’rex) has been considered one of Toronto’s most promising talents since the release of his Sammy Passion-produced hit “’94” earlier that same year. That track took his buzz to a new level, but he’d already been putting in work for several years prior to that. His most successful videos to date include “Make It” (2016), and the Banana Clip, Yung Dubz (R.I.P.) and Turk-assisted “Goin In” (2012).
“Is U Down,” HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day, is available on Deezer, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms.
