Hip-hop royalty Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are back with a fresh slice of sonic brilliance. Today marks the release of their new single, “Outta Da Blue,” featuring the sultry vocals of Alus. Produced by a powerhouse team—Dr. Dre, Dem Jointz, BoogzDaBeast, and FnZ—the track is a collision of smooth beats and razor-sharp rhymes, reminding fans why this duo continues to dominate the game. Listen here.

The world got its first taste of “Outta Da Blue” during a live episode of Drink Champs at ComplexCon, where Snoop and Dre teased the single alongside other tracks. Adding to the anticipation, the song made a cameo in the trailer for Netflix flick Back in Action, the upcoming action-comedy starring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. You can watch the trailer below.

This release sets the stage for Snoop’s highly-anticipated album Missionary, dropping December 13. Following the buzzworthy single “Gorgeous,” featuring Jhené Aiko, which debuted at No. 29 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, Missionary is shaping up to be a momentous comeback for the icons of West Coast rap. Remarkably, this is Snoop and Dre’s first full collaboration since 1993’s groundbreaking Doggystyle.

Missionary boasts a jaw-dropping roster of features: Eminem, 50 Cent, Jelly Roll, Method Man, Sting, and even the late Tom Petty. With Dr. Dre at the helm, the album promises to echo the magic of their genre-defining partnership.

Adding to the cultural frenzy, Snoop partnered with UNION Los Angeles to drop a limited-edition merch line inspired by the album. The exclusive Missionary x UNION Box Sets—featuring a Union x Snoop t-shirt and Missionary CD—are a nod to his deep roots in both music and streetwear. Check out the collaboration here.

With “Outta Da Blue” kicking things off, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre prove that their creative chemistry remains untouchable—and fans better buckle up for the ride.
