Ottawa music exec & business owner Sean Frost announces partnership with pro soccer club Atlético Ottawa

For Sean Frost, giving back to the community has always been part of the plan.

From stepping onto the local music scene, to running several Ottawa-based businesses, Frost, born Sean McRae, continues to find new ways to connect with his city.

At the beginning of May, Canadian Premier League soccer club, Atlético Ottawa—owned by the world famous Spanish club Atlético Madrid—announced a new partnership with Frost and his Sean Frost Real Estate Team.

The goal of the partnership will be to host various Ottawa-Gatineau-based families or groups for each of the 2022 Atlético Ottawa home matches. It’s also providing a support system for single moms/dads, and at-risk youth from neighbourhoods like those that Frost himself grew up in.

“I am so grateful and proud to be able to help out in any way that I can,” said Frost in the official press release issued by Atlético Ottawa.

“I live by the mantra, ‘Live Like They Dream,’ so my team is going to make certain that anyone who could use a helping hand will have the chance to experience just that!”

Frost has always been an avid soccer fan and even played the game competitively when he was younger. He’s a self-proclaimed Red Devil—a fan of the prestigious British Premier League team Manchester United—and played eight years himself as a striker and left-back in the Nepean Hotspurs system.

And while soccer has once again found itself as a priority for Frost, he’s also still fully embedded with Ottawa’s thriving hip-hop scene.

After starting off as a producer and engineer in the mid-2000’s—and growing up on everything from Dr. Dre and Eminem to Nirvana and The Offspring—Frost is now part of the team pushing one of the biggest hip-hop artists in the National Capital Region. Khalid Omar, better known as TwoTiime, found a huge buzz with his 2020 single “Hood Cry,” and he continues to make huge strides within the music industry.

“The last two and a half years have been a wild ride working alongside TwoTiime and the team,” said Frost of the experience.

“I’ve scratched and clawed at an opportunity like this for a lot of years so to see things coming to fruition is incredible and extremely rewarding. Stay tuned, you’re not going to want to miss what happens next.”

Most recently, Frost has been helping TwoTiime facilitate a contract with a major record label as the rapper works towards the release of his official album debut.

You might be asking yourself how Frost finds the time to get everything done, and that’s not even factoring in that he’s a devoted father. Along with running the highly successful Sean Frost Real Estate Team, and being a member of eXp Realty, Brokerage, Frost is also the founder of Black River Homes and co-founder of Elm Homes, both licenced Tarion custom home building companies.
