I Hate Mondays: Sayzee Levels Up With Sibbs Roc-Produced “God Hand”

TLDR: The new Sayzee banger, “God Hand,” marks the third release in his I Hate Mondays series, pairing Sibbs Roc production with a sharper, more refined evolution of the weekly drop format.

Revered Canadian lyricist Sayzee returns for week three of his I Hate Mondays (aka Mondays Suck!) campaign with “God Hand,” a Sibbs Roc-produced entry that shifts the tone of the series without breaking its momentum.

Following the self-produced urgency of “Ringworm” and the politically charged “Alex Was Right,” this latest drop expands the scope of the experiment, proving the weekly format is not just sustainable, but adaptable.

If the series opener “Ringworm” felt like a self-produced shove into the workweek, and “Alex Was Right” weaponized that DIY urgency into a more overtly political stare-down, “God Hand” plays like the pivot chapter where the format gets sharper. The mission stays the same, though: “No dramatic rollout. No inspirational speech. Just another week, another drop.”

“Most people hit snooze on Mondays. Sayzee hits upload!!! It’s week 3 and Sayzee responded appropriately — with ‘God Hand.’ The latest drop in his ongoing I Hate Mondays series comes fully powered by production from Sibbs Roc and the kind of energy you’d expect from a forgotten cult PS2 classic. ‘I Hate Mondays’ isn’t about easing into the week; it’s about treating every Monday like it owes you money. No dramatic rollout. No inspirational speech. Just another week, another drop, another reminder that while the calendar keeps attacking, Sayzee keeps countering.”

The artwork also adds context to the title. It pulls from the dark fantasy manga Berserk, featuring Guts — the lone warrior who stands in opposition to the God Hand, a powerful group that represents control and predetermined fate. Featuring Guts on the cover of “God Hand” feels deliberate. It mirrors the energy of the series itself: pushing back against systems, refusing inevitability, and meeting power head-on rather than accepting it. Guts was also featured on the artwork for “Alex Was Right.”

Sayzee’s “God Hand” is available for streaming now on Bandcamp, and you can also find it on Spotify and other digital streaming platforms.
