West Coast artists Mr. ESQ and Konfidential recently came together for new EP, Court Cases & Funerals.
The 7-track release is packed with an all-star cast of guest appearances including Prada West, Hooper Turnt Sanger, Kryple, Eddy Vocals, Joey Stylez, Pyoot, and Madchild.
Hailing from Victoira and Vancouver Island, respectively, both Mr. ESQ and Konfidential have both established reputations for having incredible work ethics, and both have a long history of collaborative projects with other artists (as well as solo releases).
Konfidential dropped two collaborative releases in 2020 including The Invasion (with Teus), and WestHaven (with YD From Tha North and Aiwass) which Mr. ESQ are both featured on.
Meanwhile, Mr. ESQ’s 2020 discography also featured three projects including the solo release, Hero, 7 Chakras, which was released in collaboration with Aiwass, and the OutLaw EP, released in collaboration with JT Owenz. Further to the point of how hard these guys work, ESQ has already announced a new EP with Evil Ebenezer which will be entirely produced by C-Lance. It’s expected on March 26, and the lead single, “Destiny,” will be out on Feb. 28.
