Pat Stay Forever: Merkules releases touching tribute to Pat Stay

Canadian rapper Merkules has released a touching new tribute to his friend and battle rap legend, Pat Stay. The 36-year-old MC was killed in Halifax over the weekend during an incident inside a nightclub. According to Pat’s fellow battler, Dizaster, he was attempting to break up a fight between two people when he was fatally stabbed. His loss has been felt around the world and has brought on tributes from the likes of Eminem, Drake, and others. “Pat Stay Forever” features production by C-Lance and a heartfelt chorus by singer Justin Cohen. Merk has indicated that all proceeds from the release will go to Pat’s family. A GoFundMe campaign for a memorial has already raised over $166K of the posted $800K goal. RIP Pat Stay.
