March 24: Killing Roses to feature live performances & art exhibit in Ottawa

Killing Roses event to feature 15+ artists (music & visual)

BabyPink Collective presents Killing Roses, a special event featuring live performances and an art exhibit showcasing creatives from Ottawa and Toronto.

Both female and male talent will be highlighted to focus on supporting equal opportunities in the community. Artists will be taking over the stage with hip-hop, R&B, and spoken word. They event will also feature a ‘Pop Up’ shop to support your favourite talent.

The performance list includes Dija, Quincie, THEVFTERPVRTY, MarleeXTheMic, James Wesson, Keynes Woods, Garcons, Vi, and Lia Kloud.

The art exhibition will feature work by artists and photographers including Osmo Capture, Sumsie, Laurena, Angela, Cassie, Ashanté, Oladimeg, Dorothé, and Oré.

They’ll have a “Killing Roses” themed dress code, meaning wear red, black, and white with a grungy twist. The photo backdrop area will be the perfect spot to show off your threads.

Killing Roses takes place on Saturday, Mar. 24 inside Ottawa’s Saint Brigid’s Centre for the Arts (310 St. Patrick Street). Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and available for purchase online via Eventbrite.

This is an all ages event but alcohol will be served (if you have ID).
