Our weekly segment Submission Sundays features the collaborative project, The Black Gang EP, by Toronto up-and-comer Kid Kold and veteran Philly rapper Freeway.

The Black Gang consists of two members: Toronto producer DJ Merciless and Kid Kold, a 29-year-old Trinidadian-Canadian rapper from Toronto.

- Why: Kold and Freeway’s chemistry shines bright on The Black Gang EP. The project not only showcases the skills of both MCs, but also the talents of DJ Mercilless, who produced the entire project. Plus they’ve some great guest appearances on board including Asun Eastwood, Dubz Priceless, Lord Fury, Ghostface Killah, Beanie Sigel, Styles P, Sheek Louch and Killah Priest.
