Kazh & producer G-SCO enlist all-star lineup for Kodefendantz Vol. 2

After making waves with his Merkules and King Benz-assisted “Darth Vader” single, West Coast artist Kazh (aka Young Kazh) is back with his latest project.

Kodefendantz Vol. 2, released in collaboration with producer G-SCO, is packed with an all-star lineup of guest appearances including Roney, Cerbeus, J Braz, Iamheavychevy, JD Era, Checkmate, Concise, and Spictacular. Along with his appearance on “Darth Vader,” Benz is also featured on the tracks “Keep It Up” and “16.”

The new project is Kazh’s third of the year, following the 4-track Kodefendantz, Vol. 1 and 7-track Fresh Out, with the standout Alkalyne-produced title track which also featured Merkules. Kazh has a lot more in store for his 2022 campaign including more new music and videos.

“Since the year started, I’ve dropped a tape every month,” Kazh explained.

“My plan is to continue that for the year. This is Volume 2 of my Kodefendantz series, produced by G-SCO. King Benz is on of the best artists in Canada. J Braz is amazing also. A lot of people come together to complete these tapes, and I’m thankful to them all.

“I feel like Canada sleeps on their artists until there’s an American look. I hope as a country we start supporting these artists early. It don’t make sense to me how much Drake was still him for years in Canada, and kinda no one cared. Then (Lil) Wayne came, and Drake has been the top artist in the world basically since then. Rock with these folks early. Also, tell Paris Richards, lets get a track done. I support her music and story. She’s hard.”

You can find Kodefendantz Vol. 2 on Apple Music, Spotify, and various other digital streaming platforms via Capital Wave Entertainment.
