D4vd Eyed as Homicide Suspect After Teen’s Body Found in Tesla

TLDR: The homicide investigation surrounding D4vd escalates, as the LAPD now considers the singer a suspect, raising new questions about Celeste Rivas’ death and his alleged connection to her.

The homicide investigation surrounding singer D4vd has officially entered a darker, more complicated phase. In a new video report, Law&Crime Network breaks down how the 19-year-old star — best known for moody, viral alt-pop hits — is now being actively looked at as a suspect in the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her decomposed body was found inside the front trunk of his Tesla two months ago, an image that has haunted every development since.

According to Law&Crime, investigators have grown increasingly skeptical of the timeline, the lack of communication from the singer’s camp, and the disturbing circumstances around how the victim was found. For many following the case, the shift toward naming D4vd a suspect doesn’t come as much of a surprise — not with the alleged prior connection between the two, and not with the bizarre, unanswered questions surrounding the night Celeste disappeared.

TMZ expanded on the D4vd homicide angle with new reporting that law enforcement is “viewing Celeste’s death as a homicide,” despite toxicology still pending. The outlet writes that “Investigators are looking at D4vd as a suspect” and detailed a strange late-night trip he allegedly took to a remote part of Santa Barbara County months earlier. They further report that Celeste’s body had been dismembered in a manner suggesting more than one person may have been involved.

Police have searched D4vd’s Hollywood Hills rental for blood evidence, and his abandoned Tesla — later revealed to contain Celeste’s remains — sits at the center of the case. So far, LAPD says they are “not close” to making an arrest, and D4vd’s team has yet to issue any public response. But with national outlets dissecting every new detail and the D4vd homicide narrative intensifying, the pressure around the investigation is tightening fast.
